PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended Sarawak Day greetings to all Sarawakians, highlighting the close partnership between the Federal Government and the Sarawak Government in driving the state's continued development and prosperity.
In a Sarawak Day message, Anwar said the strong understanding and cooperation between both governments had placed Sarawak on an increasingly firm footing to emerge as a leader in economic growth, innovation and inclusive development.
He said every development initiative was driven by a shared determination to uplift the people, strengthen the economy and ensure lasting prosperity for future generations.
The Prime Minister described Sarawak's ongoing transformation as a collective achievement made possible through the commitment and collaboration of all stakeholders.
"With the spirit of 'Sarawak Maju Segulai Sejalai' ("Sarawak Prospers, Moving Forward Together in Unity"), we will continue to move forward together to strengthen unity, accelerate development and build a more prosperous future for Sarawak and Malaysia," he said.
Anwar expressed hope that the Land of the Hornbills would continue to achieve greater success, expand its prosperity and remain a source of national pride, paving the way for a brighter future for all Sarawakians and Malaysians. - July 22, 2026
