Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ashrul Riezal Ashbar said the department received an emergency call about the incident at 12.23am.

Firefighters from the Bangi Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene eight minutes later, accompanied by personnel from the Kajang Fire and Rescue Station.
