MORE parents have been urged to lodge police reports over alleged AI-edited nude images of female students at a secondary school in Seremban, as a lawyer representing the victims’ families called on police to establish the actual number of those affected.
Ng Kian Nam, who is representing the parents pro bono, said five police reports had been lodged in the case, while several other parents had reportedly been called to assist investigations after their children were suspected of being victims.
He said his firm had also received information about a separate police report lodged in January by another student from the same school, who suspected that nude images of her had circulated on Twitter.
“We also urge the police to transparently confirm the actual number of victims whose pornographic images were involved,” he said in a statement today.
Ng said the figure of more than 300 potential victims had been conveyed to parents by the school during an earlier meeting involving the three parties.
He urged parents who feared their children might have been affected to come forward, while calling on the Negeri Sembilan Education Department and school management to decide whether the suspect should be allowed to return to school after his release.
He said students were increasingly worried about their safety and warned the education authorities and school management to ensure appropriate procedures were followed.
The case came to light after images of female students, allegedly manipulated using artificial intelligence to resemble nude photographs, were reportedly found on a male student’s mobile phone.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad was previously reported as saying that police received five reports between Aug 20 and 23 involving victims aged between 14 and 17. - October 19, 2026
