KUALA LUMPUR – PAS vice-president Idris Ahmad tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday after being informed by health officials.

The matter was confirmed by Perak PAS commissioner Razman Zakaria to the New Straits Times today.

“He returned to his hometown in Perak after attending a feast and meeting in some places.

“The Health Department Office had contacted him yesterday evening to inform that he tested positive for Covid-19.

“Idris will be placed under quarantine following all guidelines of Covid-19 infection set by the Health Ministry,” Razman was quoted as saying.

The news site also reported that Idris is being treated at Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh. – The Vibes, January 16, 2021
