KOTA KINABALU – Warisan Plus leader Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, who is at his official residence since the state election on Saturday, has finally emerged from his meeting room to thank his supporters.

It is not immediately clear what he meant by it, but he was addressing 100-odd supporters waiting in the building here.

“I wish everyone here who stayed with me since the end of the election, ‘thank you very much’,” he said.

Shafie did not respond to questions on whether he conceded. He only responded with a “thank you”.

Earlier today, several Warisan Plus elected reps were seen exiting the building. They included Sabah PKR chairman Datuk Christina Liew and DAP’s Luyang rep Ginger Phoong Jin Zhe.

At 3.55pm today, Sabah Bersatu chief Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor entered Istana Negeri Sabah. He told reporters that the palace had called him in. He was seen wearing a suit. – The Vibes, September 28, 2020
