KUALA LUMPUR – Ketari assemblywoman Young Syefura Othman of DAP has tied the knot with 35-year-old Muhammad Edrin Nordin at Wisma Selangor Dredging here today.

The two were engaged late February in Bentong, Pahang.

Young Syefura, 32, better known as Rara, had confirmed the engagement and that her fiancé is a widower with one child.

Today, Ummi Hafilda Ali, the sister of Senior Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, posted her congratulations and pictures of the happy couple on her Facebook page. However, the post was deleted a few hours later.

In March 2019, it was reported that Muhammad Masyhur Abdullah divorced Young Syefura with lafaz talak satu (divorce pronouncement) after almost three years of marriage.

He made the pronouncement before a shariah judge on March 7. The divorce application was filed on March 1.

Rara and Masyhur, an investment manager, were married on September 24, 2016. They do not have children. – The Vibes, April 10, 2021
