KOTA KINABALU – Recipients of the single-dose CanSino Covid-19 vaccine are now allowed to enter business premises 28 days after getting the jab, said Sabah Community Development and People’s Well-being Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya.

In a statement, he said the immunisation programme in the state is progressing smoothly despite the closure of several vaccination centres (PPVs).

“Several PPVs have been closed, but 16 remain operational. In areas where there are no longer PPVs, vaccinations are being administered at clinics.”

He said the vaccination drive will continue, and called on the public to observe the standard operating procedures as Sabah enters Phase 3 of the National Recovery Plan.

Based on CovidNow data, the state has fully vaccinated 54.4% of its population. – The Vibes, October 18, 2021
