KUALA LUMPUR – A man was found dead in his Perodua Myvi after he crashed into a 4.5m ravine just off the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) roundabout in Sepang earlier today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazman Khamis said rescuers arrived at the scene at 2.24pm and found the crumpled vehicle at the bottom of the shallow hill, with the driver pinned inside.

“We found a man crushed underneath the driver’s side of the vehicle, and he is believed to have died at the scene.

“Officers on duty then extracted the victim’s body by prying apart the car using hydraulics and a cutter, before handing over the body to police,” he said in a brief statement.

The incident is said to have taken place nearby the roundabout in the direction heading towards the KLIA Charter Field township. – The Vibes, February 9, 2022
