MIRI – Sarawak PKR today said it has not been formally invited to attend a purported meeting of state opposition parties, amid talks of a planned alliance to face the coming national polls.

State PKR information chief Abun Sui said they have heard rumours that Sarawak DAP is planning to hold talks with other opposition parties to discuss the possibility of uniting under a common cause ahead of the impending 15th general election.

“We in Sarawak PKR have not been officially informed,” he said in a statement.

Sui stressed that any planned opposition alliance in Sarawak will only be effective if it is inclusive of all opposition parties.
