KUALA LUMPUR – Police have identified and are on the hunt for two more male suspects in relation to a shooting at a Bukit Bintang hotel room yesterday afternoon.

Dang Wangi police chief Noor Dellhan Yahya said police have established the duo at large are locals aged in their 40s and 50s.

“Efforts to locate and arrest these two suspects are ongoing,” he said in a brief update to the media.

Noor Dellhan said a local man, who was the victim’s roommate at the hotel, who was arrested at the scene yesterday, has been remanded until next Monday to facilitate investigations.

This comes after a 46-year old Johor local was found dead with a gunshot wound in his forehead in the hotel room in the heart of the capital.

Police had said the victim was discovered by a hotel employee who gained entry to the room and then called police at about 7pm.

Investigations showed the deceased checked into the hotel just an hour before his dead body was discovered, with no clear motive established yet. – The Vibes, May 4, 2022
