SEREMBAN – Negri Sembilan Perikatan Nasional (PN) is confident of winning four to five parliamentary seats, including defending Kuala Pilah, in the 15th general election (GE15).

Its chairman Datuk Eddin Syazlee Shith said this was based on the trend of support and positive public feedback, in addition to the strength of the candidates fielded and the party machinery’s hard work after almost two weeks of campaigning.

“We see support from young people, especially first-time voters, which also shows an increase. InsyaAllah, overall, it is likely that PN can win four to five seats.

“This is not empty talk. If this good support can be translated into ballots later, we are confident that the Ngeri Sembilan PN can be a complement to sufficient numbers for PN to form the government later,” he said here, today.

“There is no controversy. I hope people make a fair and accurate assessment in GE15,” he added.

In GE14, Eddin Syazlee, representing Pakatan Harapan, won Kuala Pilah by getting 18,045 votes, defeating Datuk Seri Hasan Malek from Barisan Nasional with a narrow majority of 200 votes.

Polling for GE15 is on this Saturday. – Bernama, November 17, 2022
