KUALA LUMPUR – Kuala Selangor incumbent Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad has successfully defended his seat, defeating caretaker finance minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz of Barisan Nasional.

A source had earlier confirmed to The Vibes that the Pakatan Harapan candidate has secured a win, based on the unofficial result.

A video of him celebrating the victory at his war room was also shared to The Vibes.

Dr Dzulkefly first won the seat in 2008 before losing it in 2013. He later recaptured the constituency in 2018 before defending it this time.

Other than Dr Dzulkefly and Zafrul, two other candidates contested in the constituency – Perikatan Nasional’s Mohd Noor Mohd Sahar and Gerakan Tanah Air’s Mohd Shaid Rosli. – The Vibes November 19, 2022
