MIRI – Another longhouse in Sarawak was razed in a fire early today, the state Fire and Rescue Department said.

Its station in Limbang received an emergency alert at about 6.50am and rushed firefighters to the scene.

“The fire destroyed the entire longhouse,” the department said in a statement.

The longhouse called Rumah Bujang is located in the inner part of Limbang district.

While no casualties have been reported so far, the department said it is still collecting information on those affected. – The Vibes, January 25, 2023
