KUALA PILAH – The mother of a woman who has been missing for a week strongly believes her daughter is still in the vicinity of Kuala Pilah town.

Single mother Azizah Husin, 56, said her 33-year-old daughter Rabaah Laily, who is speech and hearing impaired, is dependent on her medication and also suffers from psychiatric issues.

“I am worried about my daughter’s health. She suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol issues. She needs her medication or else she could turn anxious and aggressive,” she told reporters when met at her house in Juasseh today.

Azizah said Rabaah had gone missing several times before, but only for a few hours. She is now praying that her only child can be located safe and sound with the help of the authorities, relatives and friends, as well as social media.

Rabaah went missing while both of them were waiting to collect medicine at Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital here last Thursday.

“She had been restless as we had been waiting very long in the queue, and then as soon as we collected the medication, she was suddenly nowhere to be seen.

“My daughter was wearing a black-striped dark brown headscarf and clad in brown pants and a greyish brown blouse.

Azizah also sought the public’s help to contact her immediately at 011-2355-8801 or the nearest police station if they have information on Rabaah. – Bernama, January 25, 2023
