Cops probing into viral clip of men allegedly insulting Prophet

KAJANG – The Home Ministry has confirmed that it received a report of a 52-second video showing two men allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad.

Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said police are currently carrying out an investigation into the clip that has gone viral on social media.

“Of course, the Home Ministry will give priority to developments in the case, which is certainly not healthy at all in the context of religious practices in this country,” he said in a press conference after the 233rd Prison Day celebrations at Kajang Prison College here today.

Also present were Home Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Ruji Ubi and Prisons Department Commissioner-General Datuk Nordin Muhamad. – Bernama, March 21, 2023
