SEREMBAN – More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the Negri Sembilan government’s Malaysia Madani Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House on Sunday (May 7).

Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will attend the event, which will be held from 10.30am to 3pm at Wisma Majlis Bandaraya Seremban (MBS) in Forest Heights.

“People can park their vehicles around the business premises in front of MBS. We expect 20,000 or more people to attend the open house,” he said after chairing the weekly executive council meeting at Wisma Negri here today.

The Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir and Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani Almarhum Tengku Besar Mahmud will grace the event, which will also be attended by Undang Yang Empat and Tunku Besar Tampin.

Meanwhile, Aminuddin dismissed the notion that the open house is being held to attract the support of the people ahead of the coming state polls to be held in six states. – Bernama, May 3, 2023
