KOTA KINABALU – A 12-year-old girl died after falling 10 floors down from an apartment complex in Labuan early this morning. 

Labuan police chief Ahmad Jawilla said the child’s body was found on the first floor of the Ganggarak Permai apartments. 

“The girl is believed to have fallen through the crack of a barricade on the side of a building. Medical personnel verified the girl died at 7.42am this morning,” he said in a statement here today. 

The victim has been sent to Labuan Hopital for post-mortem while Labuan police have not suspected foul play and classified the case as sudden death. 

Police also called on the public to come forward if they have any information over the incident at 087-412-222. – The Vibes, July 4, 2023
