PETALING JAYA – A Fire and Rescue Department helicopter with seven people on board crashed during a test flight this morning.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAAM) said all on board, including the pilot, were reported to be safe and in stable condition.

The Leonardo S.p.A AW189 helicopter is said to have crashed near Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport at about 11.52am. 

In a statement on Facebook, CAAM chief Norazman Mahmud said investigations are ongoing by the Transport Ministry’s Air Accident Investigation Bureau in accordance with Part XXVI of the Civil Aviation Regulations 2016. – The Vibes, July 22, 2023
