Sons of two Negri Sembilan MBs lose in state polls

SEREMBAN – Two sons of former Negri Sembilan menteri besar lost in the state elections. 

Danni Rais, who is the son of former Negri Sembilan menteri besar Tan Sri Rais Yatim, lost the Klawang seat to PH. 

Danni managed 4,021 votes, while Bakri Sawir got 4,598 votes. 

In Bagan Pinang, Barisan Nasional’s Mohd Najib Mohd Isa was defeated by Abdul Fatah Zakaria from PN. 

Najib is the son of former Negri Sembilan menteri besar Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad. 

Najib got 7,495 votes while Abdul Fatah got 10,921 votes. – Bernama, August 12, 2023
