KUALA LUMPUR – This year’s National Day Perdana address by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will take place at 2pm on Wednesday at the Plenary Hall of the Putrajaya International Convention Centre.

Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali said the event is aimed at showing patriotism and heightening appreciation among Malaysians towards the nation’s independence.

“The event is also hoped to unite us, to uphold the Madani Malaysia spirit,” he said via a video clip on his Facebook page today.

He invited the public to join in the event to add to its merriment, adding that it will also be televised live on local channels. – Bernama, August 26, 2023
