THIS week, medical students Ong Jelyn, Ameera Nailya Zamsury and Rahul Raj Suraj from Universiti Malaya share their reasons for wanting to become doctors and to serve the nation. 

These 19-year-olds from diverse backgrounds, talk about their motivations, how they managed to get into the course of their choice and more importantly, what they think they can do for the future of this country. 

As our future healthcare providers, are we doing enough to prepare them to take care of us?
