MRANTI, an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Mosti) serves as a one-stop research commercialisation agency with the resources to accelerate ideas to impact.

Driven by the Ideas to Innovation roadmap, Mranti’s Drone Tech initiative aims to revolutionise Malaysia’s drone industry through its 3Ps: Programme, Partnership and Park, changing the way Malaysia operates and paving the way for a new era of aerial innovation.

Mranti currently leads the national drone tech industry development initiative as part of its mandate to catalyse emerging technology innovations adoption and create a future economy.

But when did drone tech become an entire industry? And how did Malaysia become such a big player in drone tech standing on the global scale?
