IN Episode 5 of Autism From the Inside Out, our host, Shazmin Shamsuddin, and her guest, Beatrice Leong, delve into the thought process of autistic individuals.

In this episode, titled ‘The Autistic Thought Process’, Beatrice shares how she processes information and perceives the world around her.

She reveals that she finds it challenging to relate to fiction books and is unable to understand the popular Harry Potter series.

Beatrice Leong is a documentary filmmaker and entrepreneur attached to a health tech startup initiative and runs an autism advocacy group called AIDA. Diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at age 35, she dedicates her life path to reframing our understanding of ASD to foster a greater understanding of and for meaningful participation and inclusion of autistics themselves across all levels of society.
