In line with our commitment to deliver the most dynamic content and engagement to Malaysian football fans, The Vibes recently entered into an exclusive agreement to bring Kickstox, the latest global fantasy football game, to Malaysia.
We sat down with one of the founders of Kickstox, Victor Swaab, and he explained the new direction that Kickstox is taking to maximise the gaming experience for players.
The Vibes: Victor, tell us why Kickstox is a better way to play fantasy football.
Victor: Kickstox is a ground-breaking game that shatters fantasy football league paradigms by creating a cross between fantasy sports and stock trading with unlimited transfers to build a team of 11 players. It’s a football trading game, where each gamer can create a portfolio of real-life football players from Europe’s 5 biggest leagues (3000+ players) by trading those players in real time: before, during and after a match is played.
The Vibes: What makes Kickstox more fun in terms of gameplay?
Victor: The value of players is determined by their form in previous matches, 260 data points of on-pitch performance during a match and also from the buying & selling activity from other gamers.
The Vibes: How is gameplay more dynamic with Kickstox?
Victor: Football fans from around the world use their knowledge of the game to battle it out with one another. Battles are short sprints where gamers can trade during a match; the one who chooses the best players and gains the most percentage increase in their portfolio wins the battle ─ aside from bragging rights, there are fantastic prizes to be won!
The Vibes: Why should our readers and Malaysian football fans play Kickstox?
Victor: Well, ask yourself this question: are you the biggest football fan that you know of? Do you have gaming insight and expert opinions that the world is dying to see? If the answer is a resounding yes, then, here’s your chance to prove it. Sign up now at www.kickstox.com and show the world how it ought to be done. Game on! ─ The Vibes, 14 January, 2021
