KUALA LUMPUR – Former national shooter Muslifah Zulkifli died this morning. She was 35.

NSC Director-General Datuk Ahmad Shapawi Ismail told The Vibes that Muslifah died due to a lung infection.
She was admitted to the hospital two months ago for Covid-19 but was cleared by the doctor of the virus. However, she suffered complications due to a lung infection.
“On behalf of the sports fraternity, we are deeply saddened by her demise. She has contributed so much to the sports industry.
“We also want to thank Muslifah and her family for all her achievements in the national sports arena. She was a very dedicated athlete,” said Shapawi.
“She will be in our loving memories, always.”
Muslifah, who was also the Federal Territories’ shooting squad coach, was previously part of the Podium Programme from 2015 to 2017.
She won bronze at the 2014 Asia Games in Incheon, South Korea for the Rifle 50m Prone team event alongside Nur Suryani Taibi and Ayuni Farhana Halim. – The Vibes, November 6, 2021
