KUALA LUMPUR – Skipper Aaron Chia is spearheading Malaysia’s challenge at the 2022 Thomas and Uber Cup in Bangkok, Thailand from May 8-15.

The line-up for the prestigious biennial tournament includes Lee Zii Jia, experienced shuttler Liew Daren, Teo Ee Yi and Ong Yew Sin alongside three newcomers − Ng Tze Yong, Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin and Chia Weijie.

The announcement was made earlier in a statement by the Badminton Association of Malaysia.

Meanwhile, the youthful women’s Uber Cup team includes S. Kisona, Goh Jin Wei, Eoon Qi Xuan, Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah.

Myisha Mohd Khairul, Tan Zhing Yi, Anna Cheong, Teoh Mei Xing, Low Yeen Yuan, Valeree Siow and 17-year-old Chan Wen Tse will also make their debuts in the tournament. − The Vibes, April 20, 2022
