KUALA LUMPUR – Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) board of directors has approved the appointment of Datuk Abdul Razak Abdul Majid as chairman for two years effective Monday (March 27).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, it said Razak, 72, has been on the action committee for the establishment of a National Energy Centre since 2021, and a member of the Malaysian Petroleum Resources Corp’s independent advisory panel since last year.

It said he is also currently being invited by the Energy Commission to chair two committees, on supply chain and licensing, since last year.

Razak also holds a directorship in Petronas Gas Bhd. – Bernama, March 23, 2023
