PETALING JAYA – BoxCube Group, a technology firm, has partnered with data-driven advertising corporation ACCSS Digital to bolster the revenue of local businesses by optimising traffic and increasing engagement.
During the Selangor Startup Day conference today, BoxCube and ACCSS Digital signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to leverage on business intelligence to accelerate business growth.
Elizabeth Ken, founder and chief executive officer of Boxcube, emphasised that strategically advertising promoting the right product to the right consumers at the right time is the key success of the local enterprises.
“Malaysia is our primary focus, and when the right offering is channelled to the right group of interest, it directly benefits local sellers,” Ken said.
She cited examples such as local travel operators such as homestays, cafes, excursions, cruises, and traditional trinkets, which thrive when utilised by consumers.
Ken explained that the collaboration between the two companies aims to streamline traffic to BoxCube’s platform by maximising engagement and transactions from potential consumers from various channels globally.
This will be achieved through an effective reach channel, a capability to understand the behaviour and interests of the potential buyers, precision offerings, and recommendations.
“For instance, if we know a certain community does not prefer outdoor activities, we won’t advertise those to them. Instead, we can personalise offerings like sunset yacht rides for those who love the sea,” she added.

According to Ken, effective marketing involves a storytelling element that influences consumers’ purchasing decisions.
This partnership enables BoxCube to precisely position its products for the appropriate target audiences.
Ken also emphasised that the collaboration adheres to strict legal standards, including compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
This ensures the protection of consumers’ personal information while identifying their interests.
In addition to BoxCube, several other participants of the 2023 SelectUSA Investment Summit signed memoranda to enhance the local ecosystem.
The conference, hosted by the Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation, was held to celebrate the achievements of nine startups that recently participated in the Pitch Malaysia USA Series programme.
The programme in the United States is also aimed at attracting investors from the region.
Notable agreements were made between Selangor Digital School, Virtualtech Frontier, and Accendo Technologies, aiming to improve the quality of education in the state. – The Vibes, June 8, 2023
