KUALA LUMPUR – Ajinomoto Bhd has accepted a sustainability linked Islamic financing facility of up to RM100 million from MUFG Bank Bhd.

The five-year facility will be used to part-finance the construction of a new plant at Techpark@Enstek, Bandar Baru Enstek, Negri Sembilan, including the mechanical and electrical engineering works, and the purchase of machinery and equipment, the seasoning manufacturer said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Ajinomoto said its gearing ratio stood at 0.2 based on the audited financial statements of the company as at March 31. – Bernama, December 15, 2020
