NETFLIX, the world’s leading streaming entertainment service, has confirmed the release date for its new film ‘Space Sweepers’ as February 5. The first teaser of ‘Space Sweepers’ was also revealed.
Set in 2092, Earth is falling apart because of global pollution, overpopulation, disasters, droughts, and famines.
In order to survive, mankind must soon find a new home with the right environment to sustain human life.
Meanwhile, the wealthy and powerful have built themselves a new high-tech space habitat called the ‘Utopian Skies’ and took control of all the resources while the rest of humanity struggles to survive on the ruined Earth.
Spaceship Victory is one of the many that live off salvaging space debris.
Crewed by a genius space pilot Tae-ho (Song Joong-Ki), a mysterious ex-space pirate Captain Jang (Kim Tae-Ri), a spaceship engineer Tiger Park (Jin Sun-Kyu), and reprogrammed military robot Bubs (Yoo Hai-Jin), Spaceship Victory surpasses all other space sweepers.
After successfully snatching a crashed space shuttle in the latest debris chase, Victory’s crew find a 7-year-old girl inside. They realise that she’s the humanlike robot wanted by UTS Space Guards, and decide to demand ransom in exchange.
