MUAR Member of Parliament, Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman, announced that he would be getting married to singer Bella Astillah on October 10.
According to Syed Saddiq, 34, the ceremony will be held at the Maybank Merdeka Tower with an all-white concept and Islamic elements at the request of the family.
The ceremony will also create history as it will be the first wedding ceremony to be held on the 118th floor of the skyscraper.
“I am indebted to everyone who has not stopped praying and giving advice. I have read and taken it seriously.
“If possible, I would really like to get married earlier. But this is the earliest we can make preparations.
"October is the month we will start a new life," she said in a special MeleTOP program yesterday.
The engagement ceremony will also be held in the same month in the couple's birthplaces, Muar and Sabah. – August 19, 2026
