WHEN Stanley Tucci and Richard Madden uploaded an Instagram video on Friday, movie fans took it as a sign.
The two Hollywood actors seemed to be hinting at who is set the play the next James Bond, according to the Daily Mail.
With Daniel Craig leaving the franchise after 2021's No Time to Die, the next 007 is still up in the air.
In the awkward clip, the duo appeared to be holding in their laughter as they savoured the spy’s drink of choice, a martini.
After a sip, Tucci asked his Citadel co-star “How's yours?”. Madden replied: “Delicious”.
Thus fans are convinced the Game of Thrones actor, 36, was hinting he had landed the iconic role.
One fan wrote: “I don't know what drinks look like, but if that's Richard Madden drinking a Martini that's been shaken, not stirred……imma hit the roof with excitement”.
Another claimed: “There you go, here’s the new James Bond” while a third asked: “Is that the new James Bond?”.
Still another begged: “To the gods of 007 this is a no brainer”.
Last year Aaron Taylor-Johnson was revealed to allegedly be the main choice to replace Daniel Craig after taking part in a secret screen test.
The actor, 32, is said to have impressed producer Barbara Broccoli during an audition at Pinewood Studios, where many of the franchise's films have been filmed.
A source told The Sun: 'Aaron went for a screen test to be the next Bond in September and producers and Barbara loved him. He is now one of the front-runners.'
This comes after reports that Idris Elba walked away from “years of talks” with movie bosses to become the next James Bond, paving the way for a new 007.
Madden is currently starring in thriller series Citadel, alongside Tucci. – The Vibes, April 29, 2023
