KUALA LUMPUR – With a fully vaccinated rate of 90%, students sitting for public and international exams no longer need to adhere to the rotation arrangement for in-person classes from Monday onwards.
This applies to education institutions in Groups A and B as November 7 is a replacement holiday for Deepavali for Group A.
According to a statement by the Education Ministry today, the policy applies to those taking the SPM, SVM, STAM, and STPM examinations as well as IGCSE O-Levels, A-Levels, Australia Higher School Certificate, IBD, and others.
For institutions whose student populations have yet to reach the 90% fully vaccinated mark, the rotation arrangement remains in place as stated in Appendices 1 and 2.

Meanwhile, the rotation arrangement will not apply to pre-university Semester 3 students in Sekolah Sukan Malaysia and students in boarding schools nationwide.
The ministry will be issuing a list of schools that have yet to achieve the 90% vaccination threshold every Wednesday while the list of institutions that reached the target will be made public on the following Sunday or Monday.
In a series of tweets today, Education Minister Datuk Mohd Radzi Md Jidin said his ministry and the Health Ministry will continue to monitor vaccination rates among students, especially those in major examination classes.
