A TikTok user has left netizens in tears after sharing a heartbreaking video of him gifting his younger brother an iPhone for his birthday - just before he died.
In the video Muhammad Zafran Hadi Mohd Fitrahaizul (@zfrn_had18) is on a hospital bed with a breathing aid when his younger brother, Aidil Haziq visits.
Aidil is seen standing beside his brother when Zafran then takes out a box hidden under his blanket.
Believed to be an early birthday gift, he hands the box to his brother who is left in tears when he opens it and finds an iPhone inside.
He is then seen thanking his brother and kisses his hand repeatedly.
"Happy birthday Aidil. Thank you for always being strong, loving and by my side.
"This year, I want to give you a new hand phone as a gift to a brother who has always been so kind and always by my side when needed," Zafran wrote in the caption.
In a later post, it was confirmed that Zafran lost his battle with bone cancer and died at 1.45am on Oct 21.
He was laid to rest that afternoon at Kampung Melayu Seri Kundang Muslim Cemetery in Rawang, Selangor. – October 23, 2025
