PERSATUAN Kebajikan Sri Saradha Devi Illam Malaysia has recently concluded its public fundraising initiative to secure a permanent home for the children under its care.

A total of RM800,000 was raised through the collective generosity, compassion, and support of the public, marking a significant milestone in the home’s long-standing journey.

The funds raised will be used exclusively for the purchase of a permanent property, safeguarding continuity, safety, and a stable environment for the children who have been nurtured by the home for over two decades.

"The management committee extends its deepest gratitude to all donors, well-wishers, volunteers, media partners, influencers, and members of the public who supported this cause, whether through financial contributions, sharing information, or holding the home in their prayers.

“Every act of support, seen and unseen, played a meaningful role in bringing this effort to completion,” it said in a statement.

The organisation will proceed with the necessary steps towards the Sale and Purchase Agreement for the property and will share regular updates.

The organisation, meanwhile, welcomes ongoing support for daily needs such as groceries, education expenses, tuition, books, and school supplies. – January 16, 2026
