ROBO.ai Inc. has appointed Emirati executive Rashed Aleghfeli as Chief Operating Officer of its subsidiary Neurovia AI, as the firm strengthens its foothold in the Middle East’s digital infrastructure space.

The company said Aleghfeli will oversee daily operations and drive strategic execution at Neurovia AI, which specialises in data processing and compression technologies for artificial intelligence systems.

The appointment coincides with Neurovia AI’s participation in the UAE Data Centre Infrastructure & Cloud Summit 2026 in Abu Dhabi on June 11, where it has been named the official AI infrastructure partner.

Aleghfeli is set to represent the company at the event, delivering a keynote on building resilient AI infrastructure in the UAE.

He brings more than a decade of experience across government operations, public relations and international collaboration, including a previous role with the Government of Ajman.

His portfolio includes managing cross-agency initiatives, overseeing large-scale events and improving operational systems within the public sector.

Robo.ai said his experience in government-enterprise coordination will support Neurovia AI’s regional expansion and compliance efforts.

At the summit, Aleghfeli is expected to outline the company’s strategy for developing foundational data platforms to support “Physical AI” applications.

These include use cases in smart cities, autonomous systems and industrial automation.

“The UAE is building the most ambitious digital infrastructure in the world, and the data layer beneath it must be trusted, efficient, and sovereign,” he said.

“I am proud to join this team and committed to driving the operational foundations that will bring our technology to governments and enterprises.”

The appointment and summit role reflect Robo.ai’s broader push to position itself within the region’s growing AI infrastructure ecosystem. – June 12, 2026
