MERZ Aesthetics has introduced its Ultherapy Mask – PDRN Peptide Radiance in Malaysia, expanding its Ultherapy PRIME range with an at-home skincare product designed to support skin recovery following aesthetic procedures.

The hydrogel mask will be available exclusively through Ultherapy PRIME-certified clinics nationwide and is intended for use after Ultherapy PRIME treatments as well as other non-surgical aesthetic procedures.

The launch was announced alongside the appointment of actress and television personality Scha Alyahya as Malaysia’s first Ultherapy PRIME brand ambassador during the company’s Ultherapy PRIME Soirée held in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month.

According to Merz Aesthetics, the mask is formulated with ingredients including PDRN derived from salmon DNA, multi-molecular hyaluronic acids, peptides, niacinamide and adenosine to help hydrate the skin, strengthen the skin barrier and improve elasticity.

The company said clinical testing showed the mask could provide an immediate cooling effect after treatment, increase skin hydration, reinforce the skin barrier and improve visible skin firmness.

Designed with a three-piece hydrogel format covering the upper face, lower face and neck, the mask is intended to provide better contact with the skin while delivering active ingredients more effectively.

It is also fragrance-free, paraben-free and formulated for sensitive skin.

Merz Aesthetics Associate Vice President for Regional Commercial APAC Raymond Ong said the product extends the Ultherapy experience beyond the clinic by providing patients with a skincare option tailored for post-treatment recovery.

“The launch of the Ultherapy Mask in Malaysia reflects our commitment to offering clinically supported solutions that complement Ultherapy PRIME treatments and support patients throughout their recovery journey,” he said.

Meanwhile, Scha said she was honoured to become the brand’s first ambassador in Malaysia, describing the collaboration as one that aligns with her preference for treatments that enhance natural features.

“For me, confidence comes from being comfortable in my own skin. I appreciate treatments that deliver natural-looking results while allowing people to remain true to themselves,” she said.

The event brought together members of the media, aesthetic practitioners and industry representatives from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam as part of Merz Aesthetics’ regional campaign promoting personalised aesthetic care.
