ON top of updating their interface and adding a safe chat option, Innersloth has just released a new map to the popular online multiplayer game, 'Among Us'.
Bringing a fresh spin for players, ‘Airship’ is currently the biggest map among the three existing, easily doubling the size of ‘Polus.’
The birth of ‘Airship’ was first announced in December last year, leaving players at the edge of their seats with the prospects of new challenges.
Starting Wednesday, players are once again back to square one trying to navigate through the map and figuring out new tasks that have been added.
The first new feature that you will encounter upon starting the game is the option to choose where you want to spawn at.
After spawning as a crewmate, you will come upon familiar tasks like wires and trash shoots, but also an array of new tasks that seem to be more confusing than the first three maps.
With the huge map, it might even be easier to sacrifice yourself early in the game to conveniently float around the map to finish your tasks as a ghost.
Unfortunately, the dreaded card swipe task, which even stumped veteran YouTuber, Corpse, is now a permanent feature of the map when opening locked doors.

The big map does seem to be a larger challenge for imposters when it comes to finding victims, especially when each vent only connects to two others, limiting their ability to vent further away from their location.
But the upside of this is that imposters can now revert to using the age-old “I am new to this map” excuse when being accused of the newly animated murders that they have committed.
Popular ‘Among Us’ YouTubers like Toast and crew did not waste a second when it comes to attempting this new map and immediately took it to stream; and I must say, even the best among them found it challenging.
However, Innersloth went beyond just creating a new map.

Equipped with new hats, and new kill and eject animations, ‘Airship’ will be the talk of the community for a while.
So, it will not be surprising if you find it difficult to even enter a game; it took me a good ten minutes before being able to join a game.
In other ‘Among Us’ news, the existing map ‘The Skeld’ has been revamped into “dlekS ehT’ in conjunction with April Fools Day.
A map that was once familiar to veterans, has been flipped, leaving even the best of players confused and often lost.
So, update your game and try not to get your knickers in a knot as you explore these new features in the game. – The Vibes, April 1, 2021
