I'VE stopped being able to be still, while apocalyptic overtones meet with middle age and secret ideals. I wish for so much more — everything I've ever wanted wafts and wails, suspended in luminous, unattainable outline, while the world stirs outside in its murky teacup. And so I steam and thrum and my inner self bangs around on my walls of flesh, my furnace roars and brings those walls down — and I think Something Must Out. And then I go back to making lists on how to survive, how to carry my human baggage with me, how to burrow deep underground into the world while it remakes itself above. I work on my message, my roots. – The Vibes, November 21, 2020
