KUALA LUMPUR – A popular store format in Japan and Asia, roadside stores provide a novel shopping experience for customers in the local area. The DA Square store will be closely engaged with the community for a more personal, more convenient shopping experience.
Uniqlo is ready to welcome its first customers at the launch of its very first roadside store in Malaysia. Located at DA Square, Damansara Avenue in Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, the new store will open December 18, at 10am.
To celebrate the launch, Uniqlo will provide a special goodie bag for the first 500 customers to enter the store each day from December 18-20. In addition, each customer making a purchase over RM200 will receive a special Uniqlo tote bag.
As a hub for the local community, the store will carry the full range of Uniqlo’s LifeWear apparel for men, women and children. It will also feature other well-loved Uniqlo items, such as AIRism bedding and UTme! – a special t-shirt and sticker printing service where customers can create their very own original UT designs, combining images and text.
One of the novelty items in the goodie bag is an upcycled denim card holder, sustainably made by underprivileged mothers using materials left over from jeans alterations at Uniqlo stores.
For the same period, every customer who makes a purchase of RM200 or more in a single transaction will receive a Uniqlo 2020 Fall-Winter tote bag. This limited gift is available while stocks last.
Uniqlo DA Square operating hours are from 10am to 10pm daily. Same-level parking is available for customers outside the store building, including spaces for people with disabilities. – The Vibes, November 26, 2020
