FORMER prime minister, Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak recently took to social media to comment on the sizes of Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).

"The prices of KFC have increased since 2018 after the Sales and Service Tax (SST) was replaced by  GST (Goods and Services Tax).

"The price of a Snack Plate went up from RM12.50 in 2017 to RM20.99 now, while a Dinner Plate from RM15.90 to RM25.99," said Najib in a Facebook post.

He said many have also claimed that the sizes of the chicken pieces have grown smaller.

"I think many customers will return if the sizes were improved and the prices reduced to be more reasonable," he added.

Many on social media have since agreed with Najib, saying they were also hoping for a drop in prices. - The Vibes, February 10, 2024
