PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed sadness over the passing of blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin, who died last night.

In a brief Facebook post, Anwar expressed his condolences to Raja Petra’s family.

“I share in the grief and pray that his soul is granted forgiveness by Allah and that his family is blessed with strength and resilience, InshaAllah,” he said.

Earlier, it was reported that Raja Petra, 74, had died in the United Kingdom due to an infection.

His death was confirmed by his brother, Raja Idris.

Commonly known as RPK, Raja Petra was a strong supporter of the Anwar-led reformasi movement in its early days. – September 10, 2024
