KUALA LUMPUR – After its caterer tested positive for Covid-19, the Subang National Golf Club has been shut down until Sunday for sanitisation.
In a statement on its website, it said the owner of the catering company that operates the Golfers’ Terrace tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday at 5pm.
He was at the Golfers’ Terrace from December 9 to 13 and had come in close contact with staff members at the eatery.
“As a preventive measure, the management has decided that the club shall be closed from Thursday, December 17, to Saturday, December 19, to conduct a thorough sanitisation at the Golfers’ Terrace and common areas of the club.
“The club will resume operations on Sunday, December 20,” the statement said.
Those identified as close contacts have been advised to undergo an immediate swab test and observe a 10-day quarantine.
Just last month, the Royal Selangor Golf Club was closed after several Covid-19 cases were detected there.
