KUALA LUMPUR – Charge sheets sighted by The Vibes revealed despicable acts involving two teachers who were accused of molesting children at a tahfiz school and a mosque in Puchong.

The documents detailed how these teachers had abused three different students, including by grabbing their private parts and rubbing their own genitals against the buttocks of their victims.

The first accused is 18-year-old, who was charged with two offences. The first of these was for acts committed against an 11-year-old boy, in which the accused grabbed the victim's genitals in a mosque in August last year.

Meanwhile, the second charge against the same accused was for rubbing his genitals against a 12-year-old tahfiz school student in a dormitory in December 2018.

The second accused, 21, was charged with one offence of rubbing his genitals against a 10-year-old boy in the same tahfiz school dormitory in May last year.

Both accused have been charged under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 with molesting minors at Putrajaya’s sexual crime court against children yesterday.

Both pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to them. Sessions court judge Yong Zarida Sazali then ordered the duo to be released on RM5,000 bail each and set the case for mention on January 15.

They were represented by counsel V. Satchianathan. If found guilty, they face up to 20 years' imprisonment and caning. – The Vibes, December 22, 2020
