Two men were gunned down outside a shopping mall along Jalan Loke Yew in Cheras shortly after midnight today.

The incident occurred at around 12.15am, as the victims were walking towards their car which was parked in the compound of the shopping complex.

The suspects then fled in a Perodua Alza.

Both victims are said to be in their 40s from Sarawak and suffered gunshot wounds to the head and body and died on the spot.

In the 10.50pm incident, the three men, aged between 30 and 50, were dining with several friends when they were approached by two men on a motorcycle.

The two suspects then fired several shots at the group.
