SEVEN individuals, including the bus driver, were injured after the express bus they were travelling in crashed into a height barrier along Jalan Arab Malaysian heading to Bukit Mahkota, Seremban.

Fire Department 1 Senior Officer Operations Commander (KUP) Azmi Hamid said a report regarding the incident was received at around 10.30pm yesterday.

According to him, it is understood that the bus carrying 19 passengers was travelling from Kajang to Melaka.

"Those injured consisted of four men and three women aged between 30 and 50.

"The victims who suffered minor injuries have received treatment at the Serdang Hospital green zone," he said.

He said that rescue operations were underway, involving nine members of the fire and rescue team from the Nilai Fire and Rescue Station along with a unit of machinery and the Emergency Response Services (EMRS) Unit. – July 5, 2025
