MINISTER in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories), Datuk Seri Dr Zaliha Mustafa has denied the allegations made by Tan Sri Annuar Musa who accused her of lying to Parliament and distorting facts during a briefing session at the Dewan Rakyat on October 9.

The Sekijang MP described the allegations as serious and had the potential to tarnish her reputation as a minister, as well as undermine the integrity of Parliament itself.

"I am called upon to respond to the allegations made by Annuar Musa who alleged that I had lied to Parliament, committed slander and distorted the facts during the Minister's Briefing Session on October 9, 2025.

"There is no need for me to repeat what I have presented, because all the facts in the Dewan Rakyat are based on official government documents that are recorded," she said in a Facebook post today.

Annuar was previously reported to have given Dr Zaliha notice regarding the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territories)'s claim that the acquisition of Kampung Sungai Baru land was done in a hurry involving a period of three days in 2021.

This followed an explanation made by Dr Zaliha during the Kampung Baru Development Roadmap information session at the Dewan Rakyat last Thursday.

Dr Zaliha stressed that all the facts she presented in the Dewan Rakyat on the issue were based on official government documents that were recorded and not personal views.

"If he claims that I distorted the facts, then he should come forward and present evidence to the contrary. The integrity of the Dewan Rakyat cannot be played with accusations that are not based on any facts," she said. - October 13, 2025
