MAFI to further boost agriculture sector in Sabah

BELURAN – The Agriculture and Food Industries Ministry (MAFI) will ensure that the funds it has received is appropriately used, including to further boost the agriculture sector in Sabah.

Its minister Datuk Seri Ronald Kiandee said the state is an important and leading food producer in the country.

“Agricultural development in Sabah will boost the food industry in the years to come,” he told reporters after attending the Christmas Day celebration organised by the Telupid Council of Churches in Kampung Bauto here last night.

Kiandee, who is also the Beluran MP, said this is in line with the federal and state governments’ commitment to continuously develop the state for the people. – Bernama, December 28, 2020
