A MAN who was brutally killed in Nusari Biz Sendayan on Wednesday night had 42 prior criminal records, including for robbery, causing injury and housebreaking, Negeri Sembilan police chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad confirmed.

Initial investigations show the 33-year-old had been dining at a nearby restaurant with his family before the attack.

“As the victim was walking towards his vehicle, several cars carrying six masked suspects blocked his car. The suspects, believed to be armed with a pistol and a machete, got out and attacked the victim,” Alzafny said in a statement on Thursday.

The victim tried to flee towards the main road, but the assailants chased him, fired shots and then attacked him with a machete. He died at the scene, confirmed by a medical assistant from Hospital Tuanku Ja’afar.

“Initial examination of the victim’s body found slash wounds and gunshot injuries,” Alzafny said. A police investigation team consisting of investigating officers, forensic units and police sniffer dogs arrived at the scene to gather physical evidence.

A post-mortem was scheduled for Thursday. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and Section 3 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971.

Police are now intensifying efforts to trace the suspects and the vehicles involved.

“The motive of the incident and the identities of all suspects are still under investigation, and members of the public with any information are urged to come forward by contacting the Seremban District Police Headquarters hotline at 06-603222,” Alzafny added.

The incident was first reported when the operations room of the Seremban District Police Headquarters received a MERS 999 call at 11.23 pm from a man reporting a killing at a restaurant in the area. - November 20, 2025
