A TOTAL of 201 men who were also visitors to a health centre on Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur, were arrested after being suspected of being involved in illicit sexual activities.
All of them, aged between 19 and 60, were arrested in a surprise operation at around 8pm yesterday involving the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent, Kuala Lumpur City Hall and the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Affairs Department.

“The intelligence results found that there was immoral activity at this location involving men who were believed to be having same-sex or homosexual relationships.
“The premises, which are disguised as a health centre equipped with a gym, sauna, spa, swimming pool and ‘rest room’ for men, have reportedly been operating for the past eight months with each customer charged a lifetime registration fee of RM10 and a fee of RM35 for each visit to the premises.
“We believe that this premises promotes their health centre through social media and customers will meet other customers at this premises,” he said when met at the location of the raid.
Mohd Azani said that the police are currently still conducting further investigations under Section 387B of the Penal Code for the offence of unnatural sex.
